Something to share........

Hello this is a box I did for my cousin....... She is always giving me scrap booking supplies and I wanted to give her a little something in return.... The stamp is from Taylored Expressions and I love the cupcake image, it looks so yummy, yikes it's not helping me loose my baby weight...... I colored the image with my copics and I added some stickles on the frosting..... I filled the box with a few goodies hoping she will enjoy it..... The tutorial to the box can be found here..... Friday Sketchers 60.......

Copic Color Challenge 21.......

Good morning and happy Friday..... Boy it's been a busy week here with all the kids and their hungry stomachs...... Our weather has been gorgeous, very sunny and bright..... I decided to join in on the copic color challenge for this week. I found it browsing thru the Internet and it's awesome if you get a chance check it out here.... The colors are so pretty, I thought I would have a hard time with them and it was pretty easy and so much fun.... For the image I used this stamp that I had for a long time just sitting there..... Sweet Pea.....

Good morning to everyone...... I hope everyone had a fun safe 4th of July..... We had a safe and fun day..... (I ate so much) We bought a few fireworks just for the kids...... and they enjoyed it..... I stayed inside because of my little Camila the smoke is not safe for her, so I missed on that part..... Here are 3 cards I made using the Sweet Pea image from Pink Cat Studio..... I stamped the hats, colored them and then glued them on top of its head..... They are all colored with my copics and I used my nestability frames.... The blue on is on it's way out .... It's for my husbands boss and his wife they just had a baby boy and I wanted to do them a card..... Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your sweet comments!

Here's a card I did for a friend..... I mailed it out to her and hopefully she got it on time..... I didn't have any Patriotic papers but I did the best..... I am still not shopping around because my baby is still too tiny, I still try to keep her as much inside my house as I can..... Well hopefully everyone will have a safe and happy 4th of July!!!

Time flys.....

When you're busy, I guess I changed it a bit..... Where has June went and July already here...... I cant believe how fast time goes by..... It seemed like yesterday that I found out I was pregnant and my little Camila is going on two months...... Tuesday was my 13 year olds birthday (now 14) and he was so happy that his godfather bought him the xbox 360, not too long ago he got from him the Nintendo wii..... We didn't do anything big just here and I made his favorite food rice with enchiladas.... I tell you my son could eat rice everyday if I let him (Mexican rice)..... Anyways here's a card I put together with this image from Stampavie. I colored it with my copics, left it blank to add the sentiment as I need it ( love to have blank cards handy).... Howdy Girl.....

Hello and happy Saturday...... I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend...... My cousins birthday was a few weeks ago and this is the card I mailed her...... She lives in Chicago and I don't get to see her very often..... Shes into cowboy and horses stuff so this image was perfect for her card..... I colored it with my colored pencils and it was really fun..... Also here's a picture of my little Camila...... I cant believe that her first onesies don't fit her anymore shes growing up so fast!!

A little late for Fridays challenge yikes...... But better late than never...... Well for this card I used these yummy papers from DCWV..... This stamped image by hero arts, first time I use it and I've had it for quite some time now, it sure feels good when you have had something for a while and finally you get around to it...... I am sure this happens to many of us......The image was colored with my copics,I wanted to do an orange flavored cupcake so I decided to give it orange frosting, a little embossing and a few rhinestones ...... I always like to keep handy birthday cards, you never know when you will need one...... Thank you for stopping by and thanks for your sweet comments!!!

Heartfelt Thanks.....

During my stay at the hospital I made a special friend..... She is the girl in charge of the hospital tours and to make sure that your stay is as pleasant as can be (not that being at a hospital is pleasant). Well she treated me and my family really good she gave my little Camila lots of gifts and just made my stay a special one.... a few days ago I went back to visit her and I took her a little gift..... She was so happy to see me and the baby and was surprised when I gave her this..... I made the box and I bought her this necklace..... If you ever had a good experience anywhere its always nice to go back and say thank you...... After all we love to craft and sometimes we don't know what to do with so many cards/projects...... She said I was the first woman to go back and tell her thank you ( shes in Labor and Delivery)......

Hello and happy Wednesday..... I cant believe how time has gone by soo fast..... First my little Camila is already a month old..... Can you believe that already a month has gone by and I haven't done much paper crafting.......Also my son had his 8th grade promotion ceremony this morning, hes ready to go to High School and in two years my oldest son will graduate from High School..... Boy it seems like it was just yesterday that they were toddlers..... Any ways I had a few minutes to join in on Taylor's Challenge for this past Friday..... I used the image from Sweet Pea from Pink Cat Studio, colored it with my copics and used my rectangle nestabilities..... Wow I don't know how I managed to do this card, my life has been so busy these past few weeks that I hardly have time for anything..... This is my card for Taylored Expressions CC#70..... I really miss joining these challenges due to my lack of free time...... It took me for ever to finish this card but its done..... I used the stamp set called Everyday classics Limited Edition from Paper Tray Ink..... Let me tell you when I was at the hospital with Camila I received a package in the mail from PTI...... I was surprised because I didn't order anything..... Well it turns out that it was a free stamp set that is not for sale, its given to all its customers that have made such $ amount of orders a year...... Well I gladly took it and I decided to use the cupcake image for this card..... I love having Birthday cards on hand for those forgotten birthdays..... Thank you for looking and have a good day!!!

Teacher gift box.....

Hello Camila is sleeping and I have a few minutes to post...... I can't believe that she is two weeks today...... time sure flys by fast..... This is a box with I did before the baby was born...... At my daughters school we had Teacher appreciation week...... Every day for one week my daughter was to do something special for her teacher...... Well the last day she was supposed to bring her teacher a healthy snack...... We decided to put in the box a few Spacial K- Cereal bars...... The stamped image is by c.c. designs...... Wow finally I have a few moments to post........ Well before Camila was born my sister threw me a surprise baby shower...... After I warned her that after 5 kids it was illegal to do so she still went ahead with her plans....... I got so many gifts, I am so thankful since I had nothing for her..... So I did these Thank You cards and mailed them out before I left to the hospital..... The stamped images are from PTI, I colored them with colored pencils, and the paper is from Making Memories...... Camila is here.......

Wow what a past few weeks I've had........To start my grandmother was hospitalized due to her heart...... And with a few days till the birth of my daughter (planned c-section) I was having a bad week.... My grandmother underwent a heart cath, all went well but all my family was worried, my grandmother will be 82 in December...... My daughter Camila was born on Wednesday May 13, 2009 at 2:06 pm........ her weight was 7-10 and she measured 19 1/2 inches long....... We had to stay one more day at the hospital because she was a bit jaundice and she had to be under the light for 24 hours, boy was that tough for me to see my little girl crying every time they took her out to eat and then when they put her back in it was hard for her to fall asleep......I am barely starting to feel a little better, I had a C-Section so with all these sleepless nights and I forgot that you had to take care of little ones 24/7....... That is a tough job........ I have a 4 year old here at home that is willing to give me all the help I need, he tries his best but I am afraid he will hurt her unintentionally, so I have to keep an eye on him too.....Here are a few pictures of Camila..... I will keep on posting as I get time...... I cant wait to start back on my scrap booking/ card making projects again......
