Day 2 of Stamps and Smiles...


Hello and Welcome to day 2 of sneak peaks for Stamps and Smiles...Today Jennifer is showcasing Yummy in my tummy and Little Stinker! My card was made using the set "Yummy In my Tummy". My card was left simple, I want it for a male recipient.



I remember as a little girl back in Mexico, My mom grew pigs and It was so fun when the momma pig had piglets, they were so cute, I used to hold them. Just this thought came to my mind when I used this stamp set!

Stamps and Smiles Fun In The Sun........



Hello and welcome to my first Guest Designer post for Stamps and Smiles. I will be showing you samples all week of the new stamps ready for release on Friday, August 27... I decided on fun Summery papers for my card, I added Glass effects on the water in the pool and on the ball, so it looks nice and shiny, my sentiment is from the stamp set, she is a cutie.. Camila has a tiny pool like this one and she enjoys splashing!!

Miss Innocent.......

Hello and welcome to my Blog, Friday Yay!!! Any fun plans for the weekend?? We have my nieces 3rd Birthday Party on Saturday. The kids are going to have lots of fun with the Pinatas and the candies. My kids love going to birthday parties because they are allowed to drink all the Soda pop they want, funny,we'll see how that goes.



I have a cute card to share with you today, this is a digi image called "Miss Innocent" available at Whimsy Stamps. Speaking of Whimsy Stamps right now they have a summer sale, everything is 25% off! Wow that's a deal make sure you stop by the store!!

Thinking Of You Today....

Hello and welcome to my blog....Our weather has sure turned around, it's starting to look like Summer now in the middle of August lol!! My daughter started Summer School today, yeah a bit late this year, the kids are starting School on September 1st, kind of odd with the dates!

Summer....

Hello and welcome to my blog,I hope you are enjoying your weekend...It's time for a new challenge at Sunday's With Crissy and the theme is "Your favorite time of the year" Easy, it could be a holiday, Birthday,Season, someones visit, the list is endless, you can interpret it how ever works for you, hope you can join us on this Challenge and there's a great prize too!!



For my card I used the digi image By Crissy Armstrong "Great Day To Fish" available at Whimsy Stamps and like you see my favorite time of the year is Summer, I love sunny days!! I colored my image with Copic Markers and left my card rather simple, the image is quite large and I didn't want to bundle embellishments together so this look worked out for me.

Girl With Braids

Hello and welcome to my Blog, thank you for peeking in today!! Happy Friday, any fun plans for the weekend? I don't think we have any, our weather has been perfect not too hot! Today I have a Hanglar Stanglar card I made a few days ago. This image is called Girl with Braids. I finally used my Nestabilities for the frame, I have not used them in quite some time.

Elleen and Cuddly Alona.....

Hello and Welcome to my Blog, It is a beautiful Saturday morning, any weekend plans? Me hopefully some craft time! Well I have a card to share with you using a stamp from Stamp Enjoy, She is "Elleen et le doudou d'Alona" (French) Have you checked out their store?? They have some really cute images like this one!



My image was colored with Distress Inks, my Design papers are from Basic Grey. The chipboard heart I have had for ages, finally got to use it, I feel a relief when I have had something for so long and finally have a use for it, do you feel that way?? The cute little butterscotch mini roses were a gift from my friend Rae, thanks Rae they are too cute!! Of course you know that stickles were everywhere on this card!!

Sweet Little Donkey....

Hello and welcome to my Blog, today I have a card that I am sending off to Michelle Oatman, This digital stamp set was created in honor of our stamping friend Michelle Oatman who recently had a life changing accident which left her with the loss of her right eye.

For your Special Day

Today I have a fun card to share with you, this is Edwin with Lizard and this image was sent to me by my good Friend Rae...Thank you Rae...It had been so long since I colored an Edwin Image, I really like him, how can I not I have 3 boys lol!!



I left my card rather simple, the circle sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps,it's called "Whimsy Circle Postmarks" and you get 6 different sentiments in the set. I colored my Image with Distress Inks, stitched everywhere and added some brads to the four main corners.



I have to run my son has an appointment this morning at the Photo Studio for his Senior Pictures, how has time passed, this school year he will be graduating from High School then driving,Collage,Girls(not this one,not yet lol) HELP I am scared lol!!

Sending Happy Thoughts Your Way..

Hello and Welcome to my blog, Are you enjoying your weekend?? Yesterday I cleaned my house so good, I was even impressed lol, but this morning it looks the same, well with 5 kids running around you can imagine lol!! Well it's August 1st so that means we have a new Challenge going on at the Whimsy Stamps Inspirational Blog, the theme is "Anything goes" Easy right, But remember to qualify for the grand prize you must use a Whimsy image(Rubber or Digi your choice), you have lots of time to enter!!



For my card I used the cute image by the one and only Crissy Armstrong, "Jelly Bean" by the way this is a rubber stamp and it's available at Whimsy Stamps, love this cutie, it's so versatile you can make baby, birthday,get well cards the list goes on and on. No flowers on this one, but the cute little circle sentiment that I attached to the bow is also from Whimsy Stamps and it's called Circle Postmark Sentiments.My image was colored with Distress Inks, I stamped my image on cold Pressed paper this time for a textured look on Jelly Bean.

Girl With Letter...

Hello and welcome to my Blog, today I have a card to share with you using the stamp "Girl with Letter" from Hanglar Stanglar...This stamp came in Kit #1 that I purchased a few months ago..



I colored my image with Distress Inks, I left my card rather simple...not too many flowers or embellishments...however I did use lots of stickles, especially on the envelope, that one took a big load...I love glittered stuff!!

Hello and welcome to my blog, wow where has the week gone?? It's Thursday already, our weather has cooled down a bit, strange for us since this is summer. August is around the corner and that means the kids are heading back to school, my house will be quiet lol!!

Kaonee Dreamy.........

Hello and welcome to my Blog...Today I have a fun little box I altered myself...I had purchased a container of Mod Podge about 4 years ago and I just got to it lol! I always wanted to alter boxes using Mod Podge, well it took me about 4 years to open this container...I loved it though!!



I purchased this paper mache box and I just covered it and embellished it, I used the stamp Kaonee rêveuse (Kaonee dreamy) from Stamp Enjoy, My image was colored with Copic Markers. I filled the box up with goodies and gave it to my cousin as a little thank you gift for taking the Copic Certification Class with me.
