Edwin Wants A Hug......

Hello friends I am back with a card for Totally Gorjuss Challenge, this is our last challenge for the year,I hope everyone stays safe and has good plans for the New Year, let's make it a better one :)!!!



Our challenge this month is "Happy" I used this Edwin wants a Hug from a past collection, this is the first time this little guy sees ink. I colored him with Distress ReInkers,



My papers are from Maja Design Life In The Country
. I added a few flowers dipped in Twinklets for a frosted look.



All the edges have been inked with Vintage Photo including the ticket sentiment from Whimsy Stamps.

Violin Tilda.....

Good morning everyone did you have a wonderful Christmas day? My kids had a blast opening gifts, Camila got a bike and she loved it. we couldn't take her off of it lol!!

Sorry for the delay in choosing a Winner from My Maja Design blog candy, with all the holiday wrapping I had to do, I had no time to look thru all the emails and the comments on the candy section. Today I will, and I should have a name no later than Thursday, everything seems to be back to normal.

I have a book card to share with you, this was sent to my really good friend Rea. Now that she has it I could show it on my blog. Lots of Pictures... This is the front of the book card, I used Violin Tilda. My friend Rea loves Tilda images...



Lots of different little embellishments adorn the front....i used Maja Design's New Vintage Winter Papers



Opening the front flap, I used the New Layered Snowflakes Die from Whimsy Stamps



I added a strand of pearls to decorate the inner flap.

Ella

Hello thanks for peeking in, have you finished your Holiday shopping yet?? I am almost done just need a few more gifts and I am DONE!!



So I have a card to share with you using a stamp from Maja Design's New Vintage Winter Stamps, this is Ella. I love her coat and her cute little shoes. Ella was colored with Copic Markers, I added some snow Tex on several areas of the card.



The sentiment is also from Maja Design, I added some shabby crinkled ribbon.



My papers are from the New Vintage Winter Collection also from Maja Design, I can't get over how beautiful these papers are! My flowers were given the twinklets treatment and some crackle paint. Thanks for your visit!!

For Someone Special

Hello it's time for our Totally Gorjuss Challenge, this week we want to see your to Someone Special cards/projects. Please visit the TG Blog for all the details!!

I wanted to make something other than a card, I made this treat box that you can fill with anything you want, Cookies, candy maybe a scarf this will be on my
emergency shelf for those last minute Christmas gifts.



I used the image Halo Tilda, I colored her with Copics.



I have several pictures of the box from different angles.



The papers I used are from the New Vintage Winter Collection from Maja Design made in Sweden. Did you see the snowflakes stamped all over the box? These are also from Maja Design's New Winter Stamps.



The Country heart die is from Whimsy Stamps, this one is new, I stamped Music Notes also from Whimsy and just ran my die thru my cuttlebug for a nice look.



The tags slide out off the right hand corner, these are from Maja Design, and they come in the 6x6 paper pad too, what a deal!!

Snow Man

Hello thanks for peeking in, I have some home made Christmas Gifts and I still need a few more. Time is near and I have to get all my little gifts in the mail.



I want to share this Book Card I made a few days ago, this was my first attempt and I really like the way it came out. I had seen these all around Blog land but I finally took the Plunge.



There was a lot to decorate to make this Book card extra special. I used some shabby Crinkled Ribbon, I have some for Sale at my Etsy Shop it's perfect for your upcoming Valentines Projects!



Lots of pictures so please stay with me. I also added lots of Snow Tex for a frosty look. The inside Script is also from Maja Design's New Vintage Winter Line of Stamps.



I used the Snow Man Image from the New Winter Stamps Collection from Maja Design, I love the cute little bird box, I added some Crackle Glaze for an aged look.



The papers are from Maja Design New Vintage Winter Collection, It Hurt to cut thru these.



The Back cover of the Book Card, notice the beautiful border Stamp at the bottom also from Maja Design.

Charlie

Hello friends it's time for a new Challenge at Totally Gorjuss, This week our theme is " Let It Snow" with a wonderful prize, please check the TG Challenge Blog for all the details.



For my card this week I used the New Stamped Image Charlie from Maja Design. I complimented my card with the New Vintage Winter Papers, Love the Red and Blue tones!



I colored Charlie with Copic Markers, I frosted the flowers with Twinklets and also the New Layered Snowflake Die from Whimsy Stamps.

Winter Fairy Book Box

Hello I hope you are doing good, I want to share a project I did for the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine Issue #4. I have a full tutorial on how to make this Book Box Check out the Magazine HERE, and I hope you can make one and let me know of you tried to make one.



I have several pictures of different points of this book, I used Snow Tex all over the corners to resemble snow, I got it at Michael's.

I used the Wee Image from Whimsy Stamps called Winter Fairy, she's available right now, I love this image with this cute little birdie, I colored my image with Distress Re inkers.





My papers are from Maja Design, these are a past Winter Collection, Still I love the Cold Blue and White tones.



The Sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, I love these Winter Letter Seals!!



I also used the Vines Die Set to sit my flowers on after I gave them the Glitter treatment.



The Snowflake Die is also from Whimsy, by the way did you see the New Ones?? Check them out HERE!



This is how it looks when you open the book, I filled it up with Peppermints, the vintage key was smothered with Crackle paint.



A closeup on the bottom of the box, notice I used the Stamp Music Notes from Whimsy, If you don't have this stamp it is a must have for your stamp stash!

These are very inexpensive to make you can get a good deal on these old books at your local Good Will Shop, Garage Sales or even the Library and I think they make a great hand made gift, you can fill them any way you want!
