My New Ventures

Hello friends thanks for peeking in, just a quick post to let you know what I have been up to lately.

My New Years resolution was to 1. Loose weight 2. Learn Needle work. Well I am off to a great start I have been watching what I eat, I eat more Salads and protein, Lots of water and very little or no Carbs (I love Carbs), I don't eat anything past 7:00 pm, If for any reason I am hungry past this time, I drink a Small glass of 2% Milk and Tada!!!

I love Crochet Work, Hand Made Scarfs, and basically anything you make with yarn. I have no idea how to hold a needle, but I will learn. I love the Fun colors of yarn and I could stare at them for a long time, wish men luck please :)!!

On a different note my Kids got a Puppy, Yay their own German Shepherd. Meet ODA, she is 5 weeks today, My brother owns the Mom and Dad and he gave my kids this cute little female puppy. My kids are so excited and this will help them keep busy and get off the video games and TV.

What a brave girl you are! Congrats on your New Years resolutions!
The wool you have bought looks beautiful! Lovely colours! And it is not too difficult...believe me! I would struggle more with the diet...

And a new puppy?! Wow! This is lots of work, but you will have a lovely new member in your family! I still miss our dog, who dies two years ago. As we are now all back to fulltime work we can not take a new one...:(
He looks soo cute and your kids will have a great friend!!!

Wow Patricia well done hun i'm trying to loose weight to but it's hard when you where given a mountain of chocolate off everyone for Christmas. What a cute doggy she is so sweet and i love the wool, oooh i want to stoke it. love the colours can't wait to see what you make. I used to hold my hook like a pen but found it put a strain on my thumb, and i got a bit of pain that didn't seem to go. I now hold it like i have grabbed it and the pains gone and it's just as easy to crochet.

Hi Patricia,
Oh my,Oda looks adorable. I love dogs but we have 4 cats and 1 rat (and 2 kids and 1 hubby , (lol) so i have my hands full. Well, maybe later when i'm retired, in 20 years.
I want to wish you good luck on dieting. I allways struggle with my weight and i just hope that this year it finally works out for me.
Till next time.

Hey Patricia - I love to crochet, it is very relaxing. Right now my card making has taken over crocheting time. That puppy is the cutest thing - in, out, potty - in, out, potty, I think you know what I mean. I need to loose weight too. Lot's of luck !
